HVAC Maintenance & Tune-Ups in Edmonton

A small part caught early found in October is better than a Saturday night no-heat at −25°C. That is the whole point of a tune-up.

Seasonal furnace tune-up and inspection Seasonal · Prevention

Open it before the season opens you

Most no-heat calls we run in January started as something visible in October: a weak ignitor, a dirty flame sensor, a filter nobody changed, a pressure switch hanging on. A tune-up is us opening the cabinet on purpose.

For cooling, spring is the same idea - capacitors, coils, and drains fail in the first heat wave if nobody looked. We write the numbers down so next year’s visit has a baseline, not a shrug.

How we do it

The visit, step by step

1

Open and clean

Burners, flame sensor, blower, and cabinet.

2

Test the sequence

Heat or cool, start to finish.

3

Record the numbers

Combustion or temperature split.

4

Flag the next failure

A punch-list, not a scare list.

Questions we actually get

Is a tune-up the same as a cleaning?

We clean what we can reach in the cabinet. It is not a duct cleaning and not a chemical flush.

Do I need both a fall and spring visit?

If you have both a furnace and AC, yes - they fail in opposite seasons.

Will this void my warranty?

Manufacturer warranties usually want yearly service. We keep a record.

Can you change my filter on a plan?

We can, or we can show you the size and leave it as a five-minute habit.
